I agree. Whoever BeltFanDan trusts is fine with me.

I'm all for limiting the bots and spam as much as possible and removing them as quickly as possible. I agree with Hollywood, if Dan wants administrative assistance and puts someone in that position I would trust anyone he trusts as well.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
Not a highly active poster here, but I access the forum several times a day and review all new content. Would be willing to assist with this.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
The place is being spammed right now. It may not hurt the forum virus or malware wise, but the spam makes it look,,,like it's unattended. I have a plug in for my forum that quarantine's new users posts for just this reason.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
New posts were approval only. Then it got to the point where I had to approve dozens of new posts a day.f
The bots have cracked most of the captchas.
And not for nothing, but most of you barely participate on the forum.

Yes, because I've done nothing for this hobby in the last 20 years....
Tell you what, do you want to buy the forum?
This whole thing has already been looked into and short of me having to manually approve each post, it's easier to keep it as it is. If you see spam it won't be up long.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
People who rarely post offering to moderate does seem a bit disingenuous.
Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
Really does sound good and simple to offer to moderate but with most of our lives - at least with mine, there are days upon days that I just don't have access to the internet due to my work restrictions. Plus, its demanding to me a moderator or administrator of these pages... it would go well for a couple of weeks and then life would get in the way... But - with all of that said, it might not hurt to give it a shot, there are those that do participate consistently... if they are willing. idk... the spam doesn't stay up long, generally pulled within a day...
You're no daisy! You're no daisy at all. Poor soul, you were just too high strung.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
Yeah, posting once a week for 3 years isn't a problem, but the spam is only a recent issue, so it's not a reason why there isn't more posting.

Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
Nah. If you want your account deleted, post some spam and I'll clean it up tomorrow.
Re: Administrative Proposal: Moderators and Sub-Admins
So that's what happens when you don't get your way, right?
You throw a fit and say "delete my account."
Well you've done it, great job bro, you would have made an excellent moderator.

Quite honestly Kuest, I've been watching you, and it seems like you don't have much to say about anything, other then childish jabs and immature statements. How is it that you feel "above" others, when you come accross to everybody as abing in gr 7? Really though.

You're a douch bag. I wonder how many people that know you feel the exact same way. Now make another joke and laugh, clown.
