Hello Everyone!

Post by Spec_Sun » Mon May 06, 2019 10:34 am

Thank you to Dan and everyone here at Belt Talk for welcoming me to the community. My name is Brandon aka Spec_Sun. I have been an avid fan of professional wrestling and sports as far as I can remember. The former, being my favorite form of entertainment. Jim Crockett Promotions during the 80s, World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment during the 80s and 90s, World Championship Wrestling during the 90s.... especially 1990-1992 and the overall Independent Wrestling scene 2010 are my favorite eras.

One of the most intriguing aspects to me has been the belts. The look, the shine, the importance and the overall designs of belts over the years have captivated and desire to own several of them eventually.

Here are my favorite 5 belts of all-time:

NWA World Television Championship - Black Leather w/Red backing; 1986 (Crafted By Reggie Parks)
NWA United States Heavyweight Championship - Black Leather; 1986 (Crafted By Reggie Parks)
WWF Intercontinental Championship - Black Leather; 1990 Version with Mr. Perfect.... Darker Blue on the globe (Crafted By Reggie Parks)
WWF World Heavyweight Championship - Black Leather Winged Eagle; 1989 WrestleMania V Version (Crafted By Reggie Parks)
NWA World Heavyweight Championship - Big Gold; 1985.... debuted in 1986 (Designed by Charles Crumrine)

There are two more that are honorable mentions and could easily be on my list:

NWA United States Tag Team Championship - Red Leather; 1986 (Crafted By Reggie Parks)
NWA World Heavyweight Championship - Ten Pounds of Gold.... Black Leather; 1974 (Unidentified Designer)
